Our learning module on Emotionally Intelligent Leadership can help you to identify and respond effectively to common leadership challenges in your sector. It provides practical strategies to enhance emotional intelligence in yourself and in your team. At its core, emotionally intelligent leadership encompasses four connected and interrelated domains: self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, and relationship management. Self-awareness enables leaders to accurately recognise their emotional states, triggers, and impact of their behaviour on others. Self-management involves regulating emotions to respond thoughtfully rather than react impulsively, especially under stress. Social awareness encompasses empathy and the ability to read the emotional climate of a team or organisation. Relationship management involves using emotional insight to communicate effectively, resolve conflicts, and inspire collective purpose.
